Though it was far too early in the morning for anyone to be here, it didn't stop one coffee colored wolf from running across the sand damp with the morning dew. She loved the feel of the wind in her coat, the grains between her paw pads, the adrenaline of racing the tides. For once in her life, it was silent. There was no silence for her anymore, being a wolf. She always heard thoughts running through her head. But no one else was out this morning, so it was silent.
Roxi heard the sounds of cars in the distance. Better safe than sorry. She escaped to the woods nearby and quickly phased, pulling on her jeans and a long sleeve T-shirt, black in color and advertising the Broadway show Wicked. Roxi found the cooler she had hidden along with her clothes. She pulled out an old beach towel easily twice the size of her bed and laid it out on the sand. She also had some burgers, Lays, a salad, and a couple apples in the insulated box.
Laying back on the patterned towel, Roxi closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the ocean. Well, if this was the only time she would be able to relax today, Roxi was going to use every last moment she could.

Daemon walked out of his house his neon yellow, green and pink words spelling out the band's name of All Time Low. His shirt was pink (strange since he hated the color) and a pair of skinny jeans covered his legs. He didn't get into his car but instead walked the other direction. Olivia was probably sleeping, and well he didn't want to bug her but he couldn't stay in the house anymore. He was too wired for that. He walked down the road and watched as a familiar face made her way through the woods and onto the beach. He didn't live too far from First Beach, and it only took him a few minutes to walk down towards the figure.
Once she had layed down Daemon smirked and ran towards her quietly before plopping himself down on the blanket. "Where have you been young lady. I've been worried sick." he said a mock serious voice, but he was grinning so you knew he was only kidding around.

The ocean, the relatively warm weather, and the soft towel all helped lull Roxi into a deep, meditative state. She hardly heard anything now except for the soft beat of her own ticker. She closed her eyes and let the tension from her body release from her finger tips and her toes. Oh, how she had needed this.
Out of nowhere, a familiar voice demanded to know where she had been. Roxi's eyes shot open and she rolled away, screaming in shock. But then she studied the face that belonged to the voice. "Dae! I haven't seen you in forever!" she said, tackling him in ways on werewolves can. She held him a tight hug, squeezing the life out of him it seemed.

Daemon couldn't help but laugh when she screamed. He didn't mean to scare her...or did he. He wasn't sure, but it was really funny. Only when she nearly tackled him to the ground did he stop laughing. "Yep missed you too. Seriously like where have you been you missed...well everything. I rode a horse the other day." he said hugging her back. Of course she was like the sister he never had. Not that he wanted a sister, he liked being an only child, but she was like family and well his mom had been worried too.

She smiled and just sat next to him on the towel, pushing him jokingly. "I doubt you rode a horse. I'd believe that you held Olivia's hand the whole time and screamed!" she laughed heartily. The thought of Daemon on a horse was quite ludicrous, to say the least. He was too tall and too ripped for any normal horse to carry. It would be quite a bit of work for the poor animal.
She sighed heavily. "Mom and I went back to LA for a while. She wanted to find my dad..." Even if she was talking to Daemon, talking about her past still made her feel awkward. Roxi bit her lower lip and yanked her long hair, twisting it over her fingers. She wasn't really in the mood to talk about it much.
"But we're home now!" she said, quickly dismissing the subject. "So besides your lie about riding a horse," she joked, "What else have I missed?"

Daemon chuckled and let her push him though it didn’t do much, “I did and you can ask Olivia. I think she would vouch for me. Her mom had her horses brought over. I was…well complaining a lot but that doesn’t matter. I still did it” he said smirking. Even if she didn’t want to believe him well he’d just have Olivia tell her. Besides he didn’t ride back. “I didn’t make it back on the horse though. Olivia thought I was slow and so she made me run back to the stables. Just because there was a thunderstorm coming ” He frowned at this because well he hated going all wolfy around Olivia.
Daemon frowned at this news. So her mom really dragged her to LA. Daemon shook his head not really wanting to hear about this and he wasn’t gonna say anything. “Well good thing your home because Olivia missed you a lot. And well I sold like two of my guitars…” he trailed off biting his lip trying to figure out how to tell her he proposed to Olivia without her biting his head off. “Don’t kill me okay? And what I tell you is secret even from the others. I don’t want them to know yet.” Everyone knew it would happen eventually, just no one knew yet in the pack. He had been keeping it from them even in wolf form. He never thought about it then, or only when he knew no one was listening.

"Awww. Poor baby had to run!" Roxi laughed again. They shouldn't mind running. Roxi and Daemon could run for miles without stopping, days even. That was a benefit of being a wolf. Speed and endurance were greatly enhanced, along with all the senses.
Roxi was surprised. "Olivia missed me? Wow. I wasn't expecting that!" Roxi shrugged and smiled, glad to know someone besides her long lost brother had missed her. Then Daemon asked her to keep a secret. "Of course. And why on earth would I kill you?" She was surprised he would ever say something like that. They were best friends. They had been through the best and worst only with the help of each other.
"Is something wrong?" she asked with sudden nervousness. If anything was wrong with Daemon or Olivia, Roxi had no idea what she would do. She would be heartbroken, obviously. But what if it was something brute strength couldn't solve?

Daemon was the one to push her this time, not hard but hard enough to jolt her from her seat. Daemon was still grinning and stuck out his tongue. It wasn’t a big deal for him to run at all. He wasn’t complaining, sometimes he was happiest when he was running in his wolf form. He loved it so it wasn’t a matter of being a baby.
“Well I never brought it up, but I’m sure she did. Um…yeah, why wouldn’t she. You guys are like friends right? Or am I just like really out of the loop.” He said sure enough they were friends right. She had held him protect her against Eric. Or was that all just in his head. He looked confused as he thought about this really trying to figure it out. Even though he knew she would tell him if she wasn’t friends with Liv. “No nothing is wrong, it’s just I proposed to Olivia on our horse ride. And she said yes. Of course we’re waiting till like after college but still the others will give me crap about it, and I just don’t really want to go through with that.” Paul and Embry definitely would give him crap. Sadly he was the new kid so no one like respected him at all. Or at least that’s what he thought.

Roxi rolled her eyes. She loved Daemon, even if he was immature. She wasn't too much more mature than him anyways. If Roxi could ever have a sibling, Daemon would be her first choice. They were closer than most of the other pack members. Plus, Daemon had good taste in music.
Wow, she really had missed a lot. "WHAT! DAEMON! Congratulations!" she wrapped her arms around him and squealed. "That's wonderful!" So Roxi had never been the biggest fan of Olivia, but she would learn to love her. After all, it wasn't every day that brothers got married.

Daemon as the same. Roxi was like his only girl friend not like a girlfriend, cause that was Olivia, but like a friend that's a girl. The only other friends he had was the pack, and he was still getting used to being around them so much. It took him a few minutes to realize that Roxi was happy for him. See if she had reacted the way he had planned, like any normal friend should, tell him he totally moved to fast.
But he didn't care he grinned and hugged her back. "Yeah thanks. I like this reaction better." he said laughing as he pulled away from the hug a little. "I'm starving, I want to go to Emily's." he said frowning, but he had a knack for picking out food a mile away. The wolf senses helped with that. "You have food, your holding out on me." he said playfully nudging ehr wondering where she was keeping it. He didn't want to just take, cause then he would seem like Paul, but he was starving since he didn't have breakfast or anything.

Roxi laughed. "What were you expecting, then?" she asked. Most people tended to be excited when their friends were engaged. But apparently not in this case.
She felt stupid for not offering anything to start off with. "Oh, duh!" She pulled the cooler to the middle of the giant towel. Opening it up revealed several burgers that were, sadly, cold. Toppings littered the inside. Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and anything else desirable for a meat patty was inside. She also gazed hungrily at the salad and the bleu cheese dressing. Of course, the Lays would be gone in a minute or two. "Dig in, Dae!"

Dae looked at Roxi and shook his head, "I don't know. You and Liv didn't really...click. So I thought you might be upset." he said with a small smile. Yes you were it was just wierd for her to be happy for him marrying Olivia. "So after like the longest engagement in the history of engagements, you will come to the wedding for my emotional health." he said jokingly as he dramatically placed a hand on his chest and looking up so he looked like he was about to cry. Not that he cried ever, but hey whatever makes Roxi say yes to that, even though it wasn't really necessary.
Dae laughed, "Don't worry you were just overexcited to see me. I can totally understand." he teased her as he reached to grab a burger. He always ate cold burgers, sadly and cold pizza but that was actually good when it was cold. He grabbed the bag of lays and opened it for them both. He wasn't a big fan of the original chips, but he liked barbeque but that didn't mean he wasn't hungry enough to eat them. Daemon took off the top of his burger and put a handful of chips on it. "This is cool. Were you planning on eating this all yourself Rox?" he asked before taking a huge bite...it even had a crunch that was totally loud enough that you could hear it over the ocean next to them.
