IUSEDTOKNOWYOUSOWELL:: Being frozen forever at such a trying time in life has a way of taking a toll on your mood. Jane is, more often than not, in ill humor. She has a short temper and can snap quite a bit. Though she appears to be innocent and soft spoken, she is downright brutal when she is displeased. She’s used to being given what she wants, and she will stop at nothing if she believes it is possible to get it.
The girl never really had a mother figure, and never learned the nurturing traits most females do. She’s rather masculine in some ways and does not often handle situations as a proper woman would. Then again, she is still only twelve. A good bit of her immaturity has been preserved over the years, though she has learned when she can and cannot misbehave.
As a child, Jane was a practical joker. She enjoyed the thrill of fooling others, and still has a wonderful sense of humor. Years of work with the Volturi have hidden that. Alec is the only one who is typically able to access that part of her. She’s rather closed off to most people and likes to keep it that way. It’s dangerous to get too close to anyone.
She’s had nearly four hundred years to learn how to behave properly in most situations, and the girl knows how to put on a show. She’s rather dramatic and tends to be overly polite and charming when the occasion calls for it. She also enjoys a good show and takes a deep pleasure in watching others suffer. The play of emotions she sees in their eyes is far more entertaining than anything Hollywood could produce.
The only thing Jane cares about more than herself is her brother, though her selfish nature is the reason he lives forever. She will do anything in her power to protect him. One of her greatest fears is being separated from Alec. This is quite a weakness for her, though. Caring so much about a person offers the enemy an easy way to harm you.

I'LLBETHEREFORYOU:: none that are important.
LOVEWASMADEFORYOUANDME:: I don’t need another half.
BACKIN99WATCHIN'MOVIESALLTHETIME:: Watching the pain in Edward Cullen’s eyes as he endured the pain I caused. Of course it was later soured by the realization that no one I know would endure such pain for me.
THISPAINISJUSTTOOREAL:: The three wretched days of white hot pain after I was bitten.
SUMMERTIMEINNORTHERNMICHIGAN:: Adolescence is a pretty rough time. Imagine being stuck in it for all eternity! In 1624, Antoinette Depaul gave birth to twins. Medical care during this time was not nearly so advanced as that which is commonly enjoyed today, and the woman lost a great deal of blood while she was in labor. The twins, Alec and Jane, both survived, but Antoinette fell quite ill. After several weeks during which the children were under the care of an aunt, Antoinette died. Alexandre, stricken by grief after his wife’s untimely death, couldn’t bear to look upon his children. He first asked the aunt who had cared for them if she would take them in. The woman had four children of her own to look after and could not easily take on two more. Alec and Jane were sent to an orphanage. From there, they were sent away to school, though they returned to the orphanage on holidays.
The orphanage was a cold and lonely place. The two learned to depend on one another. By the time the twins were six or seven, they’d learned that they were uncommonly gifted in the area of manipulation. Jane could cause people to believe things were happening when they weren’t. Alec could cause people to believe they hadn’t seen or heard the things going on around them. As children often do, they took advantage of these talents, using them whenever possible to stay out of trouble or simply to amuse themselves. The other children and the staff of the orphanage were typically uncomfortable around the twins and took the first chance to send them away for boarding school, though they were courteous enough to keep them together.
School was full of similar episodes. The two used their talents for their own amusement. By the time they’d reached the age of twelve, though, they found they had to part ways. Girls were not to receive so much education during this time. Alec was to take an apprenticeship and learn a trade so that he could be a skilled worker. Jane was to learn the proper skills of a well rounded woman. With many tears, the two parted. Jane returned to the orphanage, but was soon dealt out to a wealthy widow who believed she could teach the girl what she needed to know to be a good wife. Jane toiled at skills such as drawing and needlework, but found she was good at none of them. Her only skill rested in playing the pianoforte.
The first winter that she lived with the woman, Jane and her caretaker decided to offer shelter to a weary-looking traveler. The winter was harsh and snow covered the ground. They offered him a spare bedroom, and he gratefully accepted. Only Jane noticed that he declined all offers of food and drink and that his skin was cold even when he sat by the fire. Confused by the stranger, the girl asked bothersome questions all night, even when her caretaker discouraged it. By the end of the night, the man was obviously exasperated. Jane was sent to bed early, and she couldn’t shake of a feeling of foreboding.
Late in the night, the girl woke with a start. She couldn’t see at all. Her candle had long since burnt out. She knew she wasn’t alone, though. A moment later, she saw the glittering crimson eyes of the man who had come to stay with them. Her eyes widened in fear and she let out a shriek as he pounced on her. His teeth tore through the flesh of her collarbone. He was poised to lunge for her neck when the widow entered the room. Distracted, he pounced on the old woman, and Jane, still desperately afraid, fled the house. She made it as far as the woods down the road when she could not continue any further. There was a desperate pain in her shoulder, and she collapsed on the snow.
Hours and days meshed together in a blur of pain. She was not aware of any time until the burning ceased. A new feeling took its place. A hunger she’d never felt. Frightened, she wandered through the woods until she came upon a small farm. The scent of blood was strong and rich there. She couldn’t help but find the source. A farmer and his wife. They had no children, and would scarcely be missed. Jane was surprised by how easily she realized this. Without much effort or thought, she took both of them down. The skill of the hunt must have come naturally.
It wasn’t until later that she realized what she’d actually done and what she must be. Ashamed and very much afraid, she fled as far as her feet would take her, feeding when she wished. Her travels did not cease until she found another like herself. A man who called himself Aro. He told her she was not alone. That she was special. Believing him, she followed him to the place he called home. She’s been a member of the Volturi ever since. Aro has trained her and helped to develop her skills. When she confessed to missing her twin, others were sent to bring Alec. By the time he arrived, the girl recognized the marble skin, garnet eyes, and sharp scent of the vampire. He was one of them, and they would never again have to part.

THISISWHYI'MHOTT (from forevermore academy)
In the time that she’d spent at the academy, Cassadee could hardly claim that she’d really spent any of it bored. It was hard to be bored when you knew you might wake up at any point in another room serving as a part of the relentless games. Today, though, from the moment she’d rolled out of the bed she’d been bored. She’d blown off her classes in favor of spending a little time with her drum set. Of course, she’d been asked to stop a few times. She’d probably managed to wake up just about everyone in the female dorms. That wasn’t a problem if you asked her, though, and she’d continued playing until she’d run out of steam.
It wasn’t until she was sure she didn’t have another option that the girl headed for the showers. She usually took her showers at odd times. It was kind of difficult to be in the communal shower when everyone around you smelled like food. She skipped showers a lot for this reason. Besides, the more she washed her hair, the quicker the color faded, and she liked it bright.
After a quick shower, she returned to her room, wrapped in a towel, and dug through the mess until she pulled out some clothes. She tugged on a pair of checkered skinny jeans, a lacey skirt, a tank top, an hoodie, and a pair of chuck taylors. Not bothering to actually dry her hair, she simply pulled the front of it back with her favorite skelanimals hair clips. That was all she really needed, wasn’t it? Staring at herself in the mirror, she frowned. She wasn’t wearing any makeup. That wasn’t much like her. Pulling a random shade of MAC pigment from the top drawer of her dresser, the girl smudged it across her lids. It was an electric orange color. One of her favorites. Grinning at her reflection, she decided she liked herself much better with the color on her face.
Without bothering to put anything back where she’d gotten it, she headed out the door of her dorm. She didn’t lock the door either. She never did. It didn’t seem logical. She didn’t have anything people would want to steal, and if she did, it would be hard enough for them to find it. She simply closed the door behind her and went on her way. Her feet took her where they would and she didn’t bother paying attention until she realized she’d made it to the gym. That part didn’t surprise her. She took a lot of her aggression out through sports. It was probably one of the healthiest things she did. What surprised her was that she’d found herself at the door to the boy’s locker room. Biting her bottom lip, she looked around. The place was empty anyway. Pushing the door open, she took a couple of steps in. Hesitant as she was about this, she knew she looked sure of herself. Bright colors seemed to do that to a person.
