the heart brings you back
Tree Hill is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it's a lot like your world, maybe it's nothing like it. But if you look closer, you might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way. Someone trying to find their place. Someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it seems like you are the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by. But that feeling's a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in the world, to remind us that it won't always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you.
Like Lucas Scott once said ‘Tree Hill is just some place in the world’ and to most people it’s like it doesn’t even exist, but to those who live there it’s the center of the universe. Living in Tree Hill all of their lives, it has effected five lives the more than anyone could ever imagine, Lucas Scott, Brooke Davis, Peyton Sawyer, Haley James (now Scott) and Nathan Scott. Lucas and Nathan use to hate each other, their father had left Lucas’ mother for someone else, leading Lucas and Nathan to a relationship of nothing but hate. If you met them today, you’d see they were closer then ever. Why? That’s easy, it was all thanks to little miss Haley James, Lucas’ best friend. She created a bond that all of Tree Hill believed would never exist. Brooke and Peyton, two best friends that have been through more than best friends should have to experience in one lifetime. Peyton lost both of her mothers, her true love, and somehow made it out alive. Brooke’s parents always threw money in her face, leaving her to a life that no teen should be in.
Now, years later these five students are all grown up living lives they thought were just dreams too far away. Lucas Scott is a successful author who wrote a book on his life about the tragedy and the love, never missing a word. Peyton Sawyer went to LA and when she realized what she wanted was not there, she returned to Tree Hill only to open her own record company and win back the love of her life. Brooke Davis made it to the very top of fame, being one of the biggest fashion designers in New York City. After a few years of being lonely and controlled by her mother, she realized that wasn’t the life she wanted, her job was no longer fun. So she gave it up to go home, to be with her real family. Nathan and Haley have been through tough times, raising a child while dealing with college and basketball. Nathan overcame his injury and Haley is now an English teacher teaching some of the brightest students she’d ever met in her life, and of course raising little Jamie Scott with her husband. So what happens next? Will these five get their happily ever after?
